Design Story & Cultural Inspiration

Designed by Rim Ghassan, a Lebanese-Italian artisan specializing in sculpture-inspired nail sets, this collection was born after she visited Chiesa del Gesù in Rome. The high ceilings, wounded angel statues, and stained glass deeply influenced this work.

Rim wanted to portray “the duality of grace and gravity”—hence the blood veining, divine iconography, and heavily detailed gilding. She handcrafted each tiny chain curve using molten gel sculpting, echoing ceremonial jewelry from Arab and Mediterranean traditions.

“This is not a nail set,” Rim says. “It’s a personal altar.”
