Design Story & Cultural Inspiration

Created by Tala Rashed, a Qatari-born jewelry designer turned nail artisan, this set draws inspiration from traditional khaleeji heirlooms, ancient Nabatean beadwork, and her grandmother’s vintage lockets.

Tala envisioned nails that look like artifacts but feel like air. The hand-embedded faux opals shift color depending on the light — just like dunes at sunrise. Each curve and golden accent echoes the motif of stillness wrapped in treasure.

“Lustre is not light that burns,” Tala explains, “it’s light that blesses.”
