Design Story & Cultural Inspiration

Inspired by historical Arab calligraphic seals, French fleur-de-lis insignia, and Andalusian palace detailing, Royal Cipher was designed by Lina Badr, a Syrian-Spanish artist known for blending Moorish geometry with baroque artistry. The blue represents legacy and loyalty, the gold evokes divine rule, and cream base symbolizes parchment — a nod to old royal scrolls and family crests.

The ornate gold emblems are hand-sculpted using Lina’s hybrid gel-metal technique, which she developed while restoring gilded wood for museums in Seville. Her goal is to transfer royal iconography into the hands of the modern woman.
